I am VERY happy that I installed the House2Start maintainer! No more extension cord and trickle charger when I am parked - charging my house batteries does it all - Great device!
Great device if you store your RV / Camper van!
Very simple to set up. I use it to keep a dedicated lead acid starting battery for an Onan generator in our 5th wheel charged from the Lithium house battery. If we run the house battery all the way down we can still start the generator to recharge the house battery. The only thing that I would recommend is longer lead wires on the device.
Was a bit skeptical that the H2S could charge my 2 Group 31 SLA starter batteries for my diesel pusher RV. However I had a number of communications with Brad and he convinced me that it would work along with some recommendations for getting it to work in parallel with my Victron Orion XS charger. So far, the H2S has been keeping my batteries at around 13.4 V and has been working solidly. Highly recommended!
