What voltage does my house battery system need to be?
House2Start only works with 12V house battery configurations.
Will House2Start completely drain my House Battery?
No, Hous2Start will not fully drain your house battery. With the external jumpers you can configure the charger 'low-voltage' shutoff according to your preference.
Does House2Start work with Lithium, LIF, or LiFePO4 house batteries?
Yes House2Start works with all types of 12V Lithium house batteries. It also works from all types of 12V lead acid batteries, and even portable power stations with 12V outlets.
I have dual batteries. When my starter batteries dies I use the second battery for a jump start. Why should I install House2Start?
Deep-discharge is harmful to your starter battery, the usable capacity and lifetime are reduced each time it happens.
A well maintained battery will serve you well for 5-7 years, but only 2-3 years if it is periodically deep-discharged.
If you rely on jumping your starter then you can expect to replace the battery more often than necessary, which will cost you more money.
